There are any number of local bars, coffee shops and good restaurants in Sao Bras de Alportel, Loule and the surrounding areas. These market towns are busy friendly places, with fresh food markets held each day in the town centres. Saturday is more colourful when everyone come to town. Big flea markets are held on Sundays locally. In the evening there are a number of popular café bars to rendezvous and meet the locals. There are some who host quiz evenings for those who want to participate. Alternatively Albufeira, Faro and Vilamoura are not far away.
